CANCELLED – This Saturday’s WXCRL QinetiQ Circuit 3/5

Today is a sad day. For the first time ever we’ve had to cancel an event due to a lack of entries. This Saturday’s WXCRL QinetiQ Saturday Circuit 3/5 (5th June 2010) has been CANCELLED.

With 11 entries so far (Wed 2nd June @ 14.50) I cannot see ourselves getting 60+ entries in the remaining few days or on the day. Those of you who have already pre entered on Entryweb can be refunded or be transferred to another WXCRL race, I’ll be in touch with you.

To be able to run British Cycling events at Barnsfield Heath we need a minimum of 70+ riders and we’re rarely seeing those numbers at our Saturday events. It’s disappointing because Barnsfield Heath really is a top class circuit, one of the best in the UK, it’s safe, varied and free of traffic. It’s also easier to organise events there because we don’t have to find marshals (apart from a gate marshal) and so many officials and lead cars unlike our road races.
